At first glance, this poem is simply about a tailor who's work is symbolized as the highest of work. But as we delve deeper into the meanings, you see god is the tailor, weaving the morals and ideals of man into the fabric of the world. The imagery explains each part, which would be part of a normal shirt, but gives that part a meaning instead. This allows to show the seperate parts as equal, and they are each a work of god.
Journal
Dear Diary:
As a pilgrim, the works of god are necessary to my life. I left England to praise him in my own manner, so i wish to work as he works. Weave as he weaves, help as he helps. I want to take my part of him and use it to become the best of what i can be. This is a far goal to reach, but it is my goal none the less. To be perfection, is impossible, but to strive for it is a noble deed.

Essential Question:
The American dream in this era seems to simply live and spread the word of god. Applying the rules and lifestyle that is created by the relgion that the people worship is their necessity. So as long as everyone is allowed to worship equally, then everyone is given a chance to expeirence their dream.

I think this was a good submission and your reflection stands out well. Though again your diary seems to lack authentisity. I do understand the dificulty in producing a good Diary Entry but aspects of the puritan life should be taken into consideration.
